Aside from this the Eagle Warrior has been moved further into the tech tree because I found it annoying that the Aztec unique unit unlocks at the start of the game in the Ancient Era. As a result of this the Tlachtli was moved to Montezuma, alongside some changes for it as well. The idea was to provide a more interesting gameplay for the Aztecs. The intention for the rework was to showcase the importance of Tlacaelel for all potential Aztec leaders, as well as adding Floating Gardens (Chinampas) as the base infraestructure. Reworks The Aztecs for Gathering Storm, alongside changes for Montezuma to lead them. And i was wondering why in maps settings saved after one crash that turned off mods, didnt have mods. I had been loading previously saved advanced game setups and only saw 2 mods every game. This comment right here is what fixed the issue. I have been dealing with "mods not loading" for months now and couldn't figure it out. If anything you expected to see is missing, go back to the Additional Content mod manager and verify that 1) all of your desired mods are there, 2) that they are all Enabled, and 3) there are no mods shown as being Incompatible. It lists all of the active mods of that new game. After the Save is concluded and you are returned to the game, go to Save again and examine that most recent Save Game slot. Manually adjust all of the game settings. Try Creating New Game from total scratch. i think im going to try to manually download, that seems to be the only thing left for me to do. i even subscribed to the better mod manager mod hoping to update that mod tab in general, with no luck. theyre stuck in the subscriptions tab, with nothing i do being able to move them to the installed tab to be in use for games. they are not in the installed tab, therefore i cant enable nor disable them. i see your meaning, and feel the same way about where the heck the mods are going. Thank you captain patch, for your detailed answer. And also that things sort out to your satisfaction. Originally posted by captainpatch:Well, that was. Going over my list, I see that several of the mods that I know I subscribed to are NOT on the list - nor did they activate when I started my most recent game. (Easy to spot: just look for the red lettering.) So its's possible that you may have some Subscribed mods Installed, but are currently Disabled. In the Installed section, mods, DLCs, Expansions, and Scenarios can be Enabled and Disabled. I get the feeling that some mods can ONLY be Unsubscribed on Steamworks. (Not sure about the label or path to wherever it is.)įrom what I see in Subscriptions, it seems to me that it contains only those mods that CAN be Unsubscribed on the Additional Content program. Then there are several Incompatible mods that might no longer on Steamworks (or other sources) that nonetheless are still in your Directory's Mods folder. Included are the DLCs and Firaxis created Scenarios., as well as the Expansions (They account for about 24 items on the Installed list. I just looked at my Additional Content.įirst, "Installed" is NOT just your mods. I am so incredibly frustrated i dont know what else to do. i messaged Sukritact on reddit on a hope and prayer that they answer. they are simply under the subscriptions tab as installed and dont move over to the mods tab no matter what i do. i subscribed to them on steam, and there is no other options or anything im able to do on steam to "download" or anything. they are under the subscriptions tab, where they say they are installed. I did this, and the mods are not under the enabled tab at all. If anything you expected to see is missing, go back to the Additional Content mod manager and verify that 1) all of your desired mods are there, 2) that they are all Enabled, and 3) there are no mods shown as being Incompatible.įirst off, thank you for your comment. So if you added some additional mods since then, they WON'T be in that new game.
